KitchenAid Mixer Bowl Lock Plate - WPW10191926

This Genuine KitchenAid bowl lock plate is used in the 4.5 quart ultra power tilt head stand mixers and the KitchenAid 5 quart Artisan tilt head mixers.  This piece is held to the base/pedestal of your mixer with three screws (3400020) which are sold separately.  This is the part that your bowl threads or twists into.  If you mixer bowl is popping out or coming loose during mixing this is the part that will need to be replaced, in some cases you may also need a new bowl as well (Part #W11324096).  When replacing your old bowl lock plate you may need to gently pry the old plate out after removing the three screws, and in some cases you may need to tap the new bowl lock plate into the pedestal housing gently with a rubber mallet, then install the three screws.
