This is a genuine KitchenAid Stand Mixer replacement motor, this 10 tooth motor is used in many of the 6 Quart stand mixers, and ALL 5 Quart Professional stand mixers made by KitchenAid. The motor, part number W11164116 replaces obsolete part numbers 8204562, 8204539, 9707507, W10247536, and WPW10247536 and 9706548.
This motor is considered a “Non-Serviceable” motor, which means the brushes are internal, and cannot be replaced. If you need new brushes for your Professional mixer, you will have to replace the whole motor.
This motor will only fit with mixers that have a worm gear with 60 teeth, if your worm gear has 53 teeth please contact customer service for more information.
